I really do love what I do. I love creating. I love making things work. I love seeing happy teams when we make what once was a concept become a reality online. I love technology.
But…
I can’t escape it.
There used to be an off switch – you left work and work stayed at work until you came back in the morning, or on Monday, or after vacation was over. Technology makes work invasive.
People use to have 20 or so close friends – people they KNEW people they talked to. Now we have hundreds of “friends”, “followers”, contacts.
Things once got done, now they get added to the pile of things to do. I think simpler might be better.
Looks like i might not be alone.
